Fun and fast, this scarf can be personalized for any season or color preference.
MATERIALS
- 2 1≥oz/50g balls (each approx 108yd/99m) of Muench Yarns, Inc. String Of Pearls (cotton/viscose/polyester) each in #4004 green, #4009 teal and #4007 light blue
- One pair size 7 (4.5mm) needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
- Size G/6 (4mm) crochet hook
PATTERN STITCH
*K 2 rows, p 2 rows; rep from * (4 rows) for pat st. SCARF
Make 3 identical strips, 1 in each color, as foll: cast on 14 sts. Work in pat st for 68"/172.5cm. Bind off.
FINISHING
With crochet hook take any color of yarn and crochet one row sc across the bound-off edge of strips 1, 2,
and 3, thus connecting them. Then sew 1≤"/4cm seam between strips 1 and 2 then between strips 2
and 3.
Braid the 3 strips.
Crochet across the cast-on edges and sew 1≤"/4cm seams same as before.
Take a 3"/7.5cm piece of yarn and use it to tack the three strips down in every place a twist was made to
keep the braid lying flat.
Block if necessary.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• Approx 5≤" x 60"/14cm x 152.5cm
GAUGE
22 sts and 34 rows = 4"/10cm over pat st using larger needles.
